Adam Grove

You'll either find him taking making sure our clients personal insurance needs are handled, or making pars and birdies on the golf course.  But we first found him at a funnel cake stand in 2011.   Read on to learn more about Adam Grove, Personal Insurance Senior Protection Analyst

Funnel cakes. Almost everyone has had one at some point and I can attest that my dad has had one every summer during the Shrewsbury Fireman's Carnival. It was his desire for an annual funnel cake that helped me get to where I am now. In the summer of 2011, Keller-Brown employees, specifically Joy Keller-Brown, happened to be volunteering at the Carnival's funnel cake stand. After a conversation with them, I decided to submit my resume to Keller-Brown the following day. I was hired in August of 2011 and have been happy here ever since.

I really enjoy working with members of our community and taking care of all of our clients. They rely on me to manage something that is very important to them and I have pride in making sure it's handled to the level they deserve. I work most with our current clients to help manage their existing policies such as making changes and exploring new options that may become available. Creating relationships through these interactions is one of the most rewarding parts of this particular role.

Outside of work you will likely find me on the golf course. If I'm not out golfing, I'm probably watching or reading about the sport. It's something that gives me the most enjoyment and comfort and I can't imagine it not being part of my life. Playing and spending time with my brother and all of the friends I have met through the game has given it a special place in my heart. My brother and I have made several trips to different parts of the country in an effort to experience the best courses. We have seen so many great places and I've become even closer with him through these travels. This is something we plan to keep doing for as long as possible. When I'm not doing all things golf, I love spending time with my fiancé, Amanda. We like going to the pool, going out to eat, and watching shows and movies together. She's my best friend and has really helped me grow over the last few years. I owe her a lot and I'm so thankful to be with her.  

Golf was also my passion while attending college. So much so that I decided, with my good friend and roommate, that we would start our own team. We worked with the university to co-found the Robert Morris Club Golf Team. We were able to establish a budget, join a multi-university league, and attend tournaments throughout each semester. Tournaments were held in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Ohio and being able to experience these events with my teammates was a way to see new places and meet new people. It really is one of my proudest accomplishments to date.

There are two significant professional achievements that I'm really proud.  In 2018, I earned my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.  To do that I took 5 very challenging insurance courses, and passed all of their written exams.  The courses and exams were very difficult but I am a better insurance professional because of it.  I use the knowledge I earned through my CIC to better protect my clients most valuable assets.

In 2020, I was promoted to Personal Insurance Senior Protection Analyst.  I now have a leadership role in the agency and my teammates look to me to help navigate issues to determine the best outcome.  It's a role I really look forward to!

I am extremely thankful for where I am in life and I owe so many people a lot of thanks. My family and friends have supported me and motivated me to always do the right thing and be my best me. I feel that my best quality is being respectful to others because I strongly believe it's what everyone deserves. Treating others that way has helped me gain friends and create numerous great relationships. All of the things mentioned here are the things that really define me as a person. Through reading this I hope you've been able to gain some insight into who I am.
