For over thirty years now, Joy and I have enjoyed seeing the small family business grow into one of the finest insurance and business organizations in the area. This was by design and occurred by sticking to some really important core beliefs. We believe by being customer focused and always doing what is best for the customer, other things will fall in line. By surrounding yourself with good people and making sure they have the proper training and support, we have better chances of taking good care of our customer's insurance needs. All of our employees are highly trained and most have designations (or several), which is a testimony to our commitment to the business. And we listen to our customers to understand their needs and then recommend a program that will better protect them if the need arises. This has enabled us to enjoy steady growth and a customer retention rate which is among the highest in the industry.

Growing up on a farm just outside of New Freedom and coming from a large family, of which I was the youngest of nine, hard work and family values were a way of life. I carry these values with me today and feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful area and have had the opportunities that I have. I guess the most important things to me would be my family. Joy and I have been blessed with three wonderful children. Our youngest (twins) Ben and Emily are serving their country in the military. The oldest Sarah has joined us in the agency and we could not be happier. She has all the right ""stuff"" to take the agency to its fifth generation.

In my spare time, I enjoy working around the farm raising cattle and horses. I also spend time hunting, wine making and traveling. Recently I have ventured into music learning to play guitar and for the last three years singing with the Glen Rock Carolers.
