About Scott Cain

With a lifelong commitment to service and community, I bring a diverse background to my role at Keller Brown Insurance. I have been a Life Member of the fire service since 1980, remaining actively involved for over 25 years. Throughout my tenure, I have served in multiple leadership roles, including Chief and President, gaining valuable experience in leadership, risk management, and community engagement.

Prior to entering the insurance industry, I built a strong foundation in public works and construction. In 2014, I made a career transition to VFIS Insurance, where I developed specialized expertise serving the unique needs of emergency services and public sector clients. In the spring of 2026, I joined Keller Brown Insurance, bringing that experience to the agency side to better serve clients with practical, real-world insight.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time camping at our seasonal site in Michaux State Forest with my wife, Teresa, and our Portuguese Water Dogs. I also have a passion for photography, focusing on landscape and wildlife, always seeking to capture the natural beauty of the outdoors.
